Stella

We've been enjoying the sunshine so much. Playing in the yard day and evening and even breaking out the BBQ for some good eats. Stella and Ron often stop off at the park on their way home to play a bit more. It is a wonder with all the moving and grooving that Stellie still doesn't sleep the night through consistantly. A few nights every few weeks. It is that 2:30am feeding she refuses to give up - even we I water down the milk. I made her 18 month appt for the end of July and realize she is getting so big, so fast. She loves to mimic what you say and she is a talker (no surprise). We're working hard on Stella adding "please" to her repitore now that she knows how to say more and sign more as well. Her eating is hit or miss. She loves avacado one night so much she is trying to say the word and stuffing more IN her mouth then missing and the next night - not interested. Tonight she enjoyed some spaghetti and yogurt chips and cabbage. Go figure - I just try to focus on the balance of her meals. She threw ....yes, not dropped but threw a cupo f mashed peas on the floor with such velocity that it went everywhere. I told Ron after I cleaned it up only to have him ask me a few days later, "what is on the ceiling". Oops, I missed seeing that I said!

We went to a new Mexican restaurant for Cinco de Mayo and we had a delicous meal and aside from a huge choking fit on a chip ...Stella ate the hell out of her beans and rice! And since then she hasn't wanted any! She wore her pink and purple striped poncho in honor of the day.

Stella's hair is growing so much I get to put it in quad ponytails now!

Stella at school with her fav stuffed animal, Lucy The Lamb.

Stella was "helping" me in the kitchen the other evening and I turned around to find her in her fav cabinet (we had to remove anything that she could get into..now wasted play space) but she had decided it was a nice place to sit.

So, she got some snacks to eat her her new spot!

Helping Daddy mow the lawn. She wants to do everything we do. She wipes stuff of the flower, brushes her teeth and now is loving to use my metal fork to feed me. Last night it was salad

Cinco de Mayo - we didn't capture the cute outfit but the grunting smile while she got down with some rice and beans. They had balloons all over the Mex restaurant which she loved.

Smile - Daddy is taking a picture. My hair looks so long in this picture. I had just got it straightened and relaxed a few days prior. Getting ready for the wedding. If you were too see me today - I'm back to curly. It lasted 1 wk!

Applying chapstick to her Daddy's lips. She is very serious about it.

First time wearing this summer green outfit. I loved it but as you can see in pics  - her tummy has decided to peek out. haha

Yumm - had a big lunch!
