Stella's 1st Zoo Visit

My mom came to town on Sat (Papa had to stay home due to a cold) and we took Stella to the zoo for her first time. It was a perfect warm Spring day which is to say it wasn't too hot. We had a stroller and lots of arms to hold Stella with. We think she had a great time. She slept in the next morning which NEVER happens so I know all the walking tired her out. I think it was cool to see animals that she only sees in books in real life like turtles and monkeys. I think the most fun she had was in the drum shed which is near the African Safari - she and my mom took a long moment to bang on the drums and smack the metal cow 'like' bells. Having a grand time. Also she liked looking at the fish in tanks and bats.
