Hello Seattle - The Bite 2012

We enjoyed Seattle's The Bite this past weekend. Stella loved the music, people, bubbles and overall vibe. We walked around everywhere; there were 5 stages and although we set up at the R&B stage we go all over. Stella seemed to love the reggae and dance music. I think the two best times she had was with a beach ball which was larger than her at the World Stage listening to 3 ladies who sung like Dreamgirls but they sung new songs such as the Doogie and Rhianna. There was a bunch of kids dancing at the edge of the stage and she had an awesome time. So much so, I silently slipped the HUGE yellow beach ball home with us! Secondly, at the children's stage there was a group of girls ages 8-12 called Baby Bosses. They danced their booties off and were very, very impressive. They did several shows and we had front row seats. The coolest was when they asked audience members to come dance and "battle"!! Stella got on stage, stood there swayed back and forth and looked deliciously cute. It wasn't till after everyone left the stage that Stella really ROCKED! She took 4th place but in our hearts, y'all know she is 1st! Enjoy pics.

I took the picture all by myself! Guess it is the only way to get Stella to look straight on camera

Bright shirt day!

Check out the SF Giant shirts! Whole family wore them on Sunday.

Amazing work of art - Don Chilluli art show of blown glass was on display in a garden setting in the Seattle Space Needle. I took some pics, they don't do any justice but they were cool. The one above is an entire tree made out of blown glass.
