4 MONTHS OLD - Stella Ruth

Tomorrow is Stella's 4 month birthday but she turned 17 wks today? Hummm, not sure how that math works :)  Anyways, she had her 4 month Dr. appt today and she weighs 13lbs 14ozs and 24 inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then the moment we had planned for ...her 3 shots. Bamm, bamm, bamm and although she started crying after the 1st one, once the bandaids were on I was able to quickly pick her up and she stopped crying. This was so much better than last time. Plus we were prepped ...I breastfeed a lot beforehand and afterwards and in addition gave her Tylenol beforehand too.

She took a long nap as I packed the car up to head down to Eugene for the weekend with my family. I love how my fam rallies when Stella comes to down. Brian came out to my parents house, my mom and dad came home early from work and even Rocky and Danielle came out. We relaxed in the sun which was so nice and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Mom even got some yummy Lemon Poppyseed cake which we ate right up. A quick game of Slam Scrabble, updating of this blog and then I'm headed to a hot tub delight with the new Oprah magazine. Stella has been a little on the cloudy side today but one thing she loved was my parents dogs ..Gertie and Mr. Wilson. Her eyes would follow them everywhere and when they barked she let loose a belly laugh my mom said.
