She slept well through the night (well means only waking 1-2) times. She was up at 6am ready to celebrate her birthday. She and Daddy hung out for a little bit then Mommie nursed her and brought her into their bed. This is one of our favorite quiet times of the weekend. Where Stella will join us in bed and slowly wake up and play with us. The time is filled with love, hugs, kisses and lots of tickles. As the morning slow wore off, the party plans started to go into effect. My parents and Cousin Hailey came up from Eugene to celebrate with our friends and family. We all met at the Jantzen Beach Carousel where Stella elegantly wore her Birthday Crown and purple Princess Dress and rode horses, eat cupcakes and got lots of love and happy birthday wishes. Ron and I looked at some pictures from the day she was born and we are both amazed. It doesn't seem like a year ...just yesterday we were eating our "last meal as a twosome" and I was dancing into the birthing center ready to have our baby girl! We enjoyed the day, my mom made some great carrot and chocolate homemade cupcakes which she, Hailey and I decorated with purple and pink sprinkles and candy hearts. Ron and I even took a family carousel ride. We didn't take that many pics but here are a few. As I get more pics, I'll post them as well.
Thank you for everyone love and support these past 1yr, 9 months plus ....we love you and realize that our happiness and peace of mind couldn't have come without all of you (who read this ..haha).
