Summer Party Weekend!

This past weekend I help coordinate our 1st Annual Wilbur Avenue Block Party and although we picked the hottest day of the year (record 100+ degree temps) we had some die hard neighbors who came out to support and get to know one another. Stella and I had a great time while Ron worked. Hope he can make next years. But he helped us get all set up the night before (THANKS HONEY)!

Then on Sunday, Ron and I had what has become our annual BBQ. This time we specifically invited our softball team and friends and family and I had our wedding albums out and about so those who didn't attend could check them out. Ron played a double header on Sunday morning then jumped into BBQ host mode. Aside from catching the BBQ on fire with burger grease, we had a great time! We had some first timers to the house, a yard full of kids of all ages, great food (thanks everyone who brought their favorite summer dishes) and we stayed up late playing cards with Cate and Megan. Ron still swears he was the Speed King! We were so busy, not a lot of pictures but here are a few.
