For the second year we visited Kruger's Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island outside of Portland. This time it was on a week day; we found it quieter but still fun. Stella liked the hayride and looking at the pigs. Even more she liked the rooster which she wanted to follow the whole time.
We went out into the pumpkin fields on the tractor/hay ride to pick some baby pumpkins and we (ok, me) enjoyed a delic candy apple afterwards which unanimously several friends and I declared the best of the best. On the weekends, there is much more activity but I can say that Stella seemed to enjoy the large tractor tire play area better than pony rides last year!
Stella also found a field of dandelions which she had fun blowing their petals away. Made for a very fun afternoon.
Our Ranson family had a great time enjoying the last sunny, warm Autumn day.
