Our 2012 Pumpkin Carving Party

We invited over some dear friends for a fun afternoon of carving pumpkins, frosting Halloween cookies and playing. We took a few pictures among the chaos and fun!

Stella in cheerleader costume and playing with both piano and electric guitar

Me holding Miciah (sp?) and Stella. Miciah is her BFF from daycare.

Cate carving pumpkins in garage. It was a bit cold outside so we set up in garage which worked great!

Kieran carrying his heavy pumpkin he picked out. This in itself was an accomplishment as it was HUGE!

McKenna carving ears (poking holes) on her pumpkin.

Kier showing off a carved pumpkin. He was "gut king" and got a lot of the pumpkins insides out for everyone. A HUGE help!

Erin (Miciah's mom) helping with Kieran's huge pumpkin.

Us girls getting busy - pumpkins don't stand a chance!

Stella and friends playing in the house. We heated the garage the best we could so we could leave the door open and everyone came and went as they pleased. Stella especially loved having her friends come play at her house. She has learned the words "come on" with the motion of waving her hand so I saw her try to do this a few times during the day.

Our friends and neighbors, Sarina and Oliver came to play. Here Sarina is reading Stella, Kenna and Oli a book.

More book reading - Kenna, Miciah and Stella. Miciah also has his Dad's ukulele. There were a lot of good sharing moments which I liked.

Oli reading a book, looking cute as ever. Stella talks about Oli daily. Having them live two doors down is a beautiful thing.

Sarina, Pete and Oli's pumpkin. AWESOME!

Proud Pumpkin Carver and her Pumpkin

Kenna and her lil "O" pumpkin. I had her draw the eyes, nose and mouth for me so I could cut it and they were all "Os". Too cute. Oli in the background has found the Duck football of Kieran's and is about to head down the driveway but has stopped to check out Kenna taking her official pumpkin photo.

Kieran's big ole pumpkin. Little Sis, McKenna is there for support and to help make the picture even cuter.  We loved having them come over and play and wish their mom happy ankle healing (broke it :(

Erin and Miciah and Pumpkin (look super close and you'll see some yummy bite marks). Miciah showed he had a taste for raw, organic pumpkin! haha  All we could do was giggle.

Stella showing off her carved pumpkin. She likes taking off the top and putting it back on.

Hot Mamas!
