Ron and I have heard wonderful things about a local Christmas adventure at The Grotto. They say they are the World's Largest Christmas Choral Festival and I was lucky enough to snag a coupon this year so we went on Monday night. We were lucky to pick a warm evening with no rain and we snuck in a buffet dinner before so we were motivated to do some walking! The Festival offers many items such as Choral concerts in an amazing cathedral setting in the Chapel of Mary, puppet shows, carolers, living history outdoor drama, petting zoo and of course the light display. We got to see and smell (petting zoo) almost everything but the Carolers. We were happy to capture some images of lights with camera but it is hard to translate the peaceful feeling we got as we walked hand in hand through the festival with childlike amazement for the lights and experiencing the overwhelming holiday spirit. The choir sang my favorite, "Away In The Manger" and at the end of the evening Ron and I both promised to bring our baby girl back here for her 1st Christmas, it will be enjoyed again through the eyes of our daughter.
