Stella is 1 week old today (8:23pm is her 1 wk bday) and we celebrated by having our 1st true "family day". It was a relaxing, lovely day where all our focus was as it should be on Stella!

This afternoon Ron and I needed to run a few errands we decided a trip to the mall was in order. We broke out the Cadi stroller for the 1st time and spent about an hour doing a few things. Just walking the stroller from parking lot to mall doors we had the biggest smiles. Both of us thinking ..."here we are, 1st stroller walk with our baby girl. We're officially outing ourselves as parents". In all we were gone only 2 hrs but since Stella arrived it is as if our lives have started over. Sure we've been to the mall 10,000 times but NEVER with as parents, with a daughter....we see the world through completely new glasses and lately it is all about the little things in life.
Stella loves skin again skin and warm sponge baths and after peeing on Ron we gave Stella her 1st spong bath at home today which allowed Ron captured 2 beautiful pics this afternoon. The one of her and I is to date, one of my VERY favorite!
