3/2 - FAMILY DAY OUT

Herman (L) and Pernell (R)
Ron saved enough vacation to take his "maternity" vacation by taking Wednesday's off for the month of March. We are happy with this plan and we've coined his days off "Family Day" where we spend time together with Stella. First Family Day was busy and spent most of the time out of the house. We stopped by the Clean and Sober Club which Ron belongs too quickly on our way to breakfast and our buddies Pernell and Herman (softball teammates) poised with Stella. They saw Ron and mine romance blossom and have always been wonderfully supportive. Our lovemance is a lot of witnesses and I like that about it!

Our big plan was to bring Stella to my work to allow all my colleagues. She was dressed to a T in a cute never been worn pink "french tolie" outfit which my Mom bought her before she was born. She was a good mood but when she did cry it felt so weird to know there were folks on conference callls and such so we rushed her into a conference room. I'll never look at the conference room table again without remembering we changed her diaper on it twice! haha She got lots of love and I was so proud to show her off.

Ron and I finished the day off with a nice long walk at Washington Sq. mall and hitting up Cheesecake Factory for Happy Hour. We picked up taxes and then finally made it home, whooooo - we were tired but we had a great time. Having 4 pairs of hands is so much easier and we both are feeling like as we approach 6 weeks, we're getting to understand and handle on caring of our lil one. No experts but when we're a team, the confidence is there and it is so much easier.
